My dad is a retired carpenter so he enjoys working and completing projects with his hands. He can make various buildings and objects with Legos. He enjoys using different colors. Using LEGOs is a fantastic way for seniors to work on their fine motor skills, utilize spatial reasoning, and engage in creative exercises for the mind. It can be an individual activity or a group project. I keep them in a large bin. I also have a few smaller bins. Some days, he doesn't build anything he separates them by colors.
