To say this is the most informative book I have read in years would be an understatement. I highly recommend this book to anyone caring for a Loved One, dealing with a disorder, wondering about memory loss and how to prevent it, or suffering from Dementia or any Neurodegenerative Disorders. The author describes in detail the different types of disorders with personal narratives to help explain the physical attributes of each disorder. Especially interesting are the chapters on Cholesterol, diets, Low Carb therapy, Coconut oil treatments, and the Ultimate Brain Foods to eat. This book is easy to read and comprehend. Most impressive is the intensive Reference section I the back of the book. Buy this book and take notes. Use Appendix A to take and score yourself on the ‘Mental Status Test’. Enjoy Chapter 20 as you make and devour some tasty brain food recipes. Read Chapter 13 to identify and understand the Ketone Miracle. I plan on using this book for several months and learning how to change my eating habits to improve my brain health.
Cure for Alzheimer's Disease
The Table of Contents contains 20 Chapters and 4 Appendixes, a reference section, and an Index. Chapter 1 is the most important chapter in the book, ‘Is There a Cure for Alzheimer’s?’ The first few chapters describe the different types of Neurodegenerative issues and possible ways to develop a disorder. Possible ways to contribute to an early memory issue or premature aging include side effects from drugs, insulin resistance, toxins, infections, poor diet, lack of exercise, trauma, stress, or inflammation of the brain.
Chapter 1 discusses personal stories of Dementia and how it affects people.
